In clinical trials, this technology performed very well on all skin types. It is also proven safe for all ages. Regenlite™ may not be suitable for people with epilepsy or a history of seizures. It is not approved for women who are pregnant or nursing. How Does N-Lite/Regenlite™ Laser Treatment Work?
This laser treatment has been well studied and has been shown to increase collagen levels by up to nearly 200% for a two-week period. Collagen stimulation is just one of the effects of the N-Lite/Regenlite™ technology, though. This pulsed dye laser can also target the pigment in various types of discoloration, including rosacea and hemangiomas. It also destroys the bacteria that contribute to acne. In addition, it helps to resolve spots and old scars caused by acne or other skin injuries through the production of the anti-inflammatory cytokine, TGFβ.
How Many Treatments Will it Take Before I See Results?
Because the N-Lite/Regenlite™ works differently than traditional laser skin resurfacing, it can take up to three months, and multiple sessions, to see dramatic effects. That said, you can expect to begin noticing slight changes in the tone, texture, and overall condition of your skin within two to four weeks after your first session. This gives the body time to infuse the area with collagen and other nutrients.
How Long Does an N-Lite/Regenlite™ Laser Treatment Take?
Your treatment may take only about half an hour, depending on the extent of improvement you wish to achieve. During your consultation, your provider will give you all of the information you need to make an informed decision and plan efficiently for your treatment session.
What is the Recovery Like after a Laser Treatment?
The N-Lite/Regenlite™ procedure is mild compared to standard laser skin resurfacing. Your skin may look red or flushed for a short time after your appointment. Depending on what you want to improve, you may notice slight bruising from your procedure. The side effects associated with treatment are usually very mild and last no more than a few days. You may not need to arrange for any time off work to reap the rewards of N-Lite/Regenlite™ for beautiful skin.
Is the N-Lite/Regenlite™ Laser Treatment Painful?
No. The treatment doesn’t require an anesthetic for you to remain comfortable. You may notice a sensation of a warm snap against your skin with each pulse of the laser. This is an indication that the energy is passing through the skin and hitting its target. This can feel uncomfortable but very tolerable.
