Remove Spider Veins in Houston TX
What is Sclerotherapy?
Sclerotherapy (Spider vein treatment) is a procedure performed to reduce or eliminate spider veins and varicose veins. This is considered the best treatment for spider veins of the legs. Dr. Kronberg has found through experience and on-going testing that lasers are not as effective on small leg veins.
Dr. Kronberg injects a very special saline solution into the tiny vessels. This solution is natural to the body and not a foreign chemical. The veins will fade away over 2 to 3 months. One treatment is sufficient and delivers superior results for most patients.
What to expect after spider vein treatment?
After the treatment we put you in compression stockings you wear for 2 weeks while you are awake. This greatly improves your results so usually only one treatment is usually needed. There is no pain after the procedure and you may have a little bruising for a couple of weeks.

How long do the results last?
The results last years. The spider veins should not return, but you can get new ones in the area over time. It is due to a defect you have in the deeper veins in your legs. The valves in your deeper leg veins are a little sluggish.
Does Sclerotherapy treatment hurt?
It has a little sting to it but we do our best to keep you comfortable.
Sclerotherapy side effects
You may have a little bruising for a couple of weeks. The bruises will be gone by the time you stop wearing the stocking.
