Everyone ages, especially if you spend lots of time out in the Houston sun. But we don’t want to end up looking like Yoda. At the same time, most people aren’t all in on surgical facelifts. They’ve either seen too many botched celebrity facelifts, or they’re simply not interested in this relatively difficult procedure and recovery.
Ah, but Dr. Kronberg can rejuvenate your aging face without a single suture with a liquid facelift. Rather than a scalpel, these facelifts employ a mix of neuromodulator and dermal filler injections to erase years from a patient’s facial age.
What is a liquid facelift?
A liquid facelift at Dr. Kronberg’s involves the use of dermal fillers and neuromodulators to provide many of the same results that can be achieved with a surgical facelift. A liquid facelift can:
- Reduce wrinkles, creases, lines, and folds
- Gently lift facial features
- Restore natural, curved facial contour, especially in the cheeks and chin
- Provide a more rested, energetic appearance
Who is a good candidate for a liquid facelift?
As we get older, there isn’t a person out there who wouldn’t benefit from addressing some of the signs of aging that continue to multiply. But many people aren’t interested in a surgical facelift, at least not yet. They don’t want the surgery or the involved recovery.
That’s what makes our liquid facelifts so popular with our patients. Dr. Kronberg can achieve results formerly only attainable through surgery with injectables. We all age in different ways, and our two board-certified dermatologists completely personalize our liquid facelifts to meet your unique facial aging needs.
How long will my results from a liquid facelift last?
The duration of your liquid facelift depends on which fillers we use. Placement also plays a role in duration. For instance, fillers placed around the mouth area, where there is constant muscle movement, often don’t last quite as long as those placed in less active areas such as the cheeks. Because different products have different durations, touch-up procedures can be necessary to maintain your liquid facelift before the longest-lasting products are absorbed by the body.
Here are a couple timelines:
- Botox — 4 months
- Juvéderm and Restylane fillers — from 6 to 18 months
We will let you know what to expect during your consultation, describing the expected duration of the various fillers we plan to use in your liquid facelift.
